A warm welcome from The Troutbeck Inn, we are nestled in the delightful hamlet of Troutbeck midway between Penrith and Keswick in the north lakes. The Inn offers a cosy, comfortable and relaxed base from which you can easily access all of the Lake District. Originally a railway hotel servicing the line between Penrith and Keswick.

The Troutbeck Inn Country Hotel is under new ownership since spring 2009 & has undergone complete refurbishment and has now been awarded a four star rating by the English tourist board for both the inn and cottages

In addition to our seven en suite guest rooms we have three Four Star cottages, these are converted from former stables and are in the courtyard to the rear of the Inn. Each cottage is extremely spacious with everything you need for a self catering holiday in the Lake District.
